One of R-Pharm’s priorities is to distribute orphan drugs. R-Pharm is participating, together with various patient’s associations, in the creation of a register of patients that suffer from rare diseases (including hemophilia, myeloma, muscular sclerosis and others). We are also active participants in specialized medical forums and conferences on this topic.
R-Pharm is actively engaged in the charity, provides recipient-oriented assistance to prevention and treatment facilities, various funds.
In March 2010, our company started the “Grants for Pharmaceutical Cluster Development” program in Yaroslavl. Specific majors in pharmaceutical industry, as offered in four higher educational institutions, were selected, namely in the Yaroslavl State Technical University, the Demidov Yaroslavl State University and the Yaroslavl State Medical Academy, the Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University. R-Pharm, on a competitive basis, selected best students, who will have opportunity to undergo their internship at the Ortat manufacturing site, Kostroma. 150 students are paid monthly scholarships by R-Pharm. Further, the company plans to develop this project by increasing the number of scholarship holders and introducing dedicated personnel training programs for the Russian pharmaceutical industry.

In order to assist vulnerable and needy "R-Pharm" carries out charitable activities. The main recipients are disabled children, orphanages, members of large families, war veterans, patients who need high-tech and expensive treatment. Charitable activity of the company is aimed at prevention and treatment of socially significant, serious diseases, health protection of citizens, as well as promoting healthy lifestyles, improving the morale of citizens.
