R-Pharm Overseas, Inc., was founded in January 2011 in San Diego, CA to provide R-Pharm with cutting-edge R&D technologies, discovery platforms, drug development strategies in the US, Japan, China and Europe. R-Pharm Overseas, Inc. has been able to hire top-notch scientists in California, Massachusetts and other states to develop these tasks. Training scientists and healthcare professionals in the US for R-Pharm is another important objective. R-Pharm Overseas Inc. has already started US-based training of students and young scientists recruited by R-Pharm from the University of Yaroslavl and Oncocentr, Moscow. Additionally, R-Pharm Overseas, Inc. facilitates partnering of drug candidates and drug discovery and development technologies with US-based Pharmaceutical, biotech and Venture capital companies, and implements US-arm strategies of partnered molecules and projects.
2010
R-Pharm’s active development is marked by the following events:
R-Pharm purchases 100% shares in OAO Novosibkhimfarm, Novosibirsk. The enterprise deals with manufacturing of ampul products and various patches. Taking to account the product line of the Yaroslavl plant under construction (lyophilized substances, solutions/concentrates in vials, tablets, capsules), the Novosibirsk plant’s product line becomes an addition to the general line of pharmaceutical products manufactured by R-Pharm.
R-Pharm and ChemRar announce the establishment of their joint venture. The first milestone of this enterprise becomes the construction of a drug substances plant within the Yaroslavl Pharmaceuticals Cluster.
New strategic project – the production of primary and secondary package for medicines in partnership with leading western pharmaceutical manufacturers. Within this project, the company purchases Ortat plant in the Kostroma region, which modern technical facilities enable to produce primary and secondary package.
2009
R-Pharm begins to establish the vertical-integrated production and distribution holding. Within this project, R-Pharm is building its own pharmaceuticals manufacturing site in Yaroslavl within the Yaroslavl Pharmaceuticals Cluster to produce innovative drugs for treatment of most important vital diseases. R-Pharm also makes arrangements with multinational corporations about the beginning of licensed production of patented world-known branded medicines in Russia. The company is actively engaged in preparation and equipment procurements, development of the product line plan and recruitment of personnel.
2008

R-Pharm became a regular supplier of a number of leading clinics and scientific research institutes. First regional branches was established.
2001
CJSC R-Pharm founder Alexey Repik puts into practice the idea of a company specializing o market access and distribution of pharmaceuticals used in hospital and specialty care. The key objective of the company is to conquer the leading position in this segment of the pharmaceutical market and further establish its own pharmaceutical manufacturing enterprises.
