In 2014, the Government of the Russian Federation established the Agency for Development of Professional Communities and Regular Labour Force Union “WorldSkills Russia” which became an official representative of the Russian Federation in WorldSkills International.
Partnership with WorldSkills Russia is crucially important to the R-Pharm group of companies from the perspective of staff issue. Contests identify the best workers and craftsmen in the workplace. Another advantage is the opportunity of early vocational guidance and apprenticeship children for jobs, as well as generating an interest in working in the real sector for the young. Besides, it is also a way to include Russian personnel in the international expert community.
That is why back in 2014, as part of WorldSkills Russia, R-Pharm specialists in cooperation with the Yaroslavl Industrial and Economic College developed tender documentation and presented the competence "Laboratory Chemical Analysis".
The proposed initiative not only caught on in the National championship but also became one of the most demanded. Since 2016 this competence has been included in the competitive program of early vocational guidance "JuniorSkills".
For two years, students from the Yaroslavl Industrial and Economic College, who take part in the dual education project of R-Pharm, have demonstrated a high level of competence and become gold medal winners in Olympiads. In 2015, a student, Alexey Averchenkov, won a gold medal in this field. In 2016, Anastasia Slavgorodskaya, another student of Yaroslavl Industrial and Economic College and participant of the R-pharm pilot project became the leader in the field.
